The Speedmax CF SLX Road to Roth is a sleek new ride from Canyon, and if you buy it for yourself, you’ll get the chance to compete in Challenge Roth in any race between 2025 and 2029.

Your ticket to race
Entry into Challenge Roth is incredibly difficult to come by, and it doesn’t matter how prepared you are on registration day—the race fills up so quickly that getting a spot in the race is purely luck. Registration for the 2024 race was complete in just 43 seconds, and the 2025 race (set for July) is already filled up, too.
Although you can no longer register for the 2025 event, Challenge will let anyone who buys the new Speedmax in. Of course, you might want more time to prepare for Roth (after all, since it’s so difficult to get in, it could be a long time before you get another shot at the world-famous course), which is why Speedmax CF SLX Road to Roth owners will get to choose to enter any race until 2029.
Canyon has been the official bike partner of Challenge Roth in years past, and after extending their deal with the race for another three years, event organizers agreed to this race entry opportunity. All of the Speedmax CF SLX Road to Roth frames will come with a unique QR code that will guarantee the owner’s entry into the race.

The Challenge Roth finish line is known for its laser show, so the design team at Canyon used this as inspiration for the Speedmax. The frame has a variety of colours in its design, and these will shift hues in sunlight, mimicking the lasers in Roth.
