Black Friday deals for triathletes

The best deals available for triathletes from top brands including Trek, Normatec, Garmin and Reebok.

It’s Black Friday, and that means there are hundreds of deals swirling around the internet.

But, as a triathlete, it can be difficult to figure out where to spend your money given the various options you’ll have in swim, bike and run gear. Below we’ve outlined some of the biggest sales from the top brands to find all the gear you’ll need for the upcoming year.

Swim

FORM

The new FORM smart-display goggles are undeniably the hottest piece of swim gear to come out in 2019, and you can now get them for $20 off up until Dec.2 using the promo code “SWIM20” at checkout.

Bike

Trek

If you’re looking for a brand new ride, Trek has put all of their bikes on sale with savings of up to $400.

In addition to that, they’re also offering a full $1,000 off of their 2019 Women’s Speed Concept.

Sugoi

Sugoi will be hosting an assortment of deals for Black Friday. Their Evolution Zap jerseys will be 50% off,  they will have sales on a number of accessories including 60% off select gloves and socks and you can grab a Zap 2.0 Helmet Cover or Zap Training Tuke for only $9 with any purchase during Black Friday weekend.

Boyd

This Black Friday Boyd is offering a compelling offer. Buy one set of premium wheel and get either a set of aluminum wheels or ceramic bearings for free.

Orucase

Orucase makes bike cases that avoid the obstacles of airport bike fees. From Black Friday until Cyber Monday, they will be having a 25% off sale on all products.

Run

Reebok

Reebok is offering 50 per cent off site-wide on Thursday and Friday (with some exclusions). Fifty per cent!

Reebok has a huge selection of clothing and gear for your winter running needs. Some of our favourite items: the Thermowarm men’s hoodie ($65), men’s shirt ($45) and women’s jacket ($65), all three of which beautifully and stylishly straddle that line between running gear and après-run.

Nathan

Nathan has a 25% off site-wide sale for Black Friday (already in progress), as well as a 12 Days of Christmas sale with a different promotion (up to 70 per cent off) every day starting Wednesday, December 4.

Our favourite items: the smartphone-compatible, high-visibility Reflective Convertible Mitt from the HyperNight collection ($34.99–here’s the link for the women’s mitt) have three things you want in a winter running glove: warmth, versatility, and reflectivity.

The VaporAir 2.0 7L (men) and VaporAiress 2.0 7L (women) hydration packs ($149.99) will keep you hydrated and your keys, phone and snacks organized when you venture onto the trails this winter.

Swiftwick

Swiftwick socks are 25 per cent off their activity-specific lines site-wide until December 2, and you get a free Moisture-Wicking Neck Gaiter with $100 purchase. We like the merino wool Pursuit line, which are moisture-wicking and cushioned to absorb impact–great for the trails.

The Runners Shop

Toronto’s oldest running shop is offering “waterfall pricing” starting online on Cyber Monday, over and above the items they’re currently offering on sale. Here’s how it works:

Spend $100, save 10 per cent
Spend $150, save 15 per cent
Spend $200, save 20 per cent
Spend $250, save 25 per cent

Our favourite items: The cozy Ciele and Buff merino wool beanies are 10 per cent off. Wear them rolled up or rolled down. The breathable, lightweight New Balance Transform Half Zip for women and Heat Quarter Zip for men are 30 per cent off. (The women’s version has hidden thumbholes for extra warmth, and the men’s has a chest pocket.) For those extra cold long runs, the thermal fleece and highly windproof Sugoi Firewall 180 Zap tight is 25 per cent off. And last but not least, the breathable GoreTex Asics Gel Cumulus 21 GTX will keep you running long through the worst winter weather, and is on sale for 25 per cent off.

Races

Challenge Family Triathlon

The Challenge Family is offering 10% off your entry fee for 12 different races in 2020 if you use the promo code CFBLACKFRIDAY19.
