We caught up with Rachel McBride after Ironman Cozumel last year where she made her full distance debut and placed fifth. The B.C.-native talks about her love for the full distance and her plans to make it to Kona this year. She also talks about her involvement with the design of her sponsor Diamondback’s new super bike, the Andean, and how she knows this bike will help carry her to even more fast bike splits in 2017. McBride also talks about her more general plans for the season and what she’s been up to in training lately.
