VIDEO: Elite triathletes preview WTS Montreal bike course

Check out the amazing bike course featured in the WTS Montreal stop this weekend.

In the second weekend of back-t0-back Canadian WTS racing (the Edmonton stop was last weekend), the world’s top ITU triathletes are in Montreal for the city’s inaugural WTS race after the success of their world cup last year. Get a glimpse of the race’s unique bike course above, which features some cobble-stone stretches and passes by some of the city’s most stunning neighbourhoods and architecture.

So far, athletes have been expressing on social media how much they love the city of Montreal.

One of the things I've been trying to do as I visit each place on the circuit is to make sure I go on mini excursions to see new things! So when someone recommended visiting L'Oratoire Saint Joseph du Mont Royal I went for it! Today was the best day weather wise and considering when the race is it was either today or miss it. Turns out it was even more perfect than I thought it would be as @lindseyjerdonek joined me and they had a summer concert series going on. Also a passing storm left some pretty amazing clouds. The church had a beautiful inside and was a great place to be to thank God for all the amazing opportunities and experiences we are given. I'd say #wtsmontréal is off to an awesome start!
