Triathlon Canada partners with Garneau for 2018

Triathlon's national governing body in Canada has partnered with the Quebec-based brand in 2018.

Triathlon Canada has chosen Canadian brand Garneau as their helmet and bike shoe partner for the Canadian triathlon nation in 2018.

Garneau, the pioneer custom cycling clothing company in North America, will supply helmets, gloves, socks and cycling shoes to Canada’s National Team and National Development team athletes for the 2018 season. The company will also support the team with some Garneau Gennix E1 race bikes to help the development efforts.

“Triathletes spend countless hours on the bike, so we are excited to partner with Louis Garneau to provide access to some of the most critical resources our athletes require for optimal training and medal-winning performances,” said Kim Van Bruggen, chief executive officer of Triathlon Canada. “Louis Garneau and Triathlon Canada have a common focus at our core: support our athletes’ drive to achieve their performance goals. Louis Garneau is a proven performer and we look forward to having a Canadian company with us on our team’s quest to put the maple leaf on the international podium.”

“The success of Canadian triathletes inspires us on a daily basis. We are committed to supporting the sport and delivering the very best product to athletes flying our nation’s flag on the national and international levels,” says Eric Sakalowsky, global marketing director of Garneau.

Garneau is currently the apparel sponsor for Canadians Heather and Trevor Wurtele, the bike and apparel sponsor of Antoine Jolicoeur Desroches and one of the main sponsors of Lionel Sanders.
