Subaru Canada offering up a Kona slot
If racing at the Ironman World Championship is your dream, here's another way to get there:
Kona qualification is a dream and goal for many, but there are ways to get to the Big Island if you aren’t quite able to crack the age-group win and secure your slot.
Any athlete who races at a specified Subaru Ironman Canadian event this year is eligible for the Kona slot that the company has up for grabs through their “Road to Kona” contest. Simply “nominate a friend” who has participated in and completed one of the following races. You will need to also write a 100-word description on why the athlete “deserves to go to Kona, Hawaii for the Ironman World Championship.”
Eligible races:
- Ironman Canada – Whistler, Ironman Mont-Tremblant
- Ironman 70.3 Victoria, Ironman 70.3 Muskoka, Ironman 70.3 Mont-Tremblant
