Sherriff and Quick place in top 5 at Ironman Florida
Ironman rookies Leah Sherriff and Angela Quick finish 3rd and 4th overall, respectively
Two Canadian women and Ironman rookies had fantastic performances at the age-group only Ironman Florida on Sunday. Former pro Leah Sherriff and elite age-grouper Angela Quick placed third and fourth respectively in the fast and flat (and always competitive) overall women’s field, clocking 9:55:33 and 10:00:18 respectively. For Quick, this was an age group win in the 25 to 29 age group. For Sherriff, this earned her second in the 30 to 34 age group.
