Gallery: Club La Santa Ironman Lanzarote

TMC was overseas at Ironman Lanzarote over the weekend. A world-class field including Jan Frodeno, Wildflower Triathlon’s winner Jesse Thomas, Timo Bracht, Ivan Rana and more battled for the men’s title on arguably the toughest Ironman on the circuit. In the end, it was Thomas who added another victory to his belt and Frodeno and Brit David McNamee who rounded out the podium in second and third respectively.

The women’s race saw an equally as impressive field of mostly Europeans take on the course. Danish powerhouse Tine Holst took the win and was joined on the podium by Belgian Alexandra Tondeur and Britain’s Lucy Charles.
