Lionel Sanders announces first races of season

Lionel Sanders has confirmed two races he’ll do in early 2018. He announced on Instagram this morning that he’ll be returning to Ironman 70.3 Pucon on Chile, and he’ll also be participating in a local indoor triathlon — the 2018 Triathlon Ontario Indoor Provincial Championships held at McMaster University on February 18th:

Sanders won 70.3 Pucon as his season opener in 2017, and has expressed his love for racing in South America.

Triathletes in the Greater Toronto Area can still register to race alongside Sanders at the McMaster indoor triathlon. The event is expected to sell out; more info and registration is available here.
