Jamnicky and Forbes third at Santo Domingo CAMTRI Cup

Guelph Triathlon Project members Dominika Jamnicky and Taylor Forbes capped off their season with a podium finish each  at the Santo Domingo CAMTRI Sprint Triathlon Cup in Dominican Republic on Sunday. For Forbes, this was his third podium of the year. Jamnicky overcame a crash on the bike to still land the bronze medal and finish strong:

“Today marked the last race of my season,” she told TMC yesterday after her race. “I’ve been a part of Triatlon Santo Domingo since its debut in 2015. As always it’s a fun time and I was happy to be in the mix! A little crash set me back but I was still able to fight for the podium.”

In the women’s race Canadian Emy Legault placed 5th, while on the men’s side Edouard Garneau had the next highest finish in 14th.
