Emma Snowsill and Jan Frodeno expecting second child

Snowsill and Frodeno both won the gold medal in triathlon at the Beijing 2008 Olympics.

Beijing 2008 gold medallists and husband and wife Emma Snowsill and Jan Frodeno announced over social media that they are expecting their second child:

“If it looks like I’ve been spending a bit too much time at the bakery of late, you’re right,” Snowsill posted on social media. “There is another bun in the oven happily baking away.”

Snowsill is recognized as one of the best female ITU triathletes of all time, with three world championship titles and a Commonwealth Games title besides her Olympic gold medal. She retired from competitive triathlon in 2014, but is still active in the triathlon world as a commentator for the Super League Triathlon. Frodeno is currently getting ready to go after his third Ironman World Championship in Kona, Hawaii on October 14th.
