This week’s bike and kit profile features Alicia Kaye, who was recently awarded USAT’s elite non-draft female triathlete of the year. Kaye is coming off a win at Ironman 70.3 Puerto Rico, and is set to race Ironman Texas on the weekend. Kaye uses an ISM saddle, a popular choice among long course triathletes
On this training day, her bike was equipped with front and rear Royal wheels and Specialized tires, though Kaye often races with a disc wheel as she did at Ironman 70.3 Pucon earlier this year (where she placed 2nd).
Her Shiv uses Shimano DuraAce Di2 electronic shifting, popular among most of the pro bikes we've profiled this year.
She's using a Ceramic Speed fast chain on both her bikes as well.
