Antoine Jolicoeur Desroches considered his Sunday race at Ironman 70.3 Miami to be his best of the year.

“Super happy with my race today,” he reported on social media after. “Eleventh overall and 3:58:43 (PB) and a 1:20:38 half-marathon (PB too).”

Desroches has made his way around North America and Europe for several races on the 70.3 circuit this year and now that he has finally broken the illusive four-hour barrier, he knows he’s on the right track to start targeting some top fives and podiums in the stacked fields he’s used to competing in.
