5 ways to tell you should break up with your coach

As with anything, there are good coaches and bad coaches in triathlon.  A coach should be more than just someone who gives you a list of workouts to do each week, they should get to know you and learn how to get the most out of you to reach higher and greater goals – that is what coaching is after all.  I’ve put together 5 ways to tell you should break up with your coach.

1. You get your plan late.
2. Your plan is consistently identical to other athletes.
3. There is no two-way communication.
4. Unwilling to adapt your plan to your life.
5. Consistently fall short of your goals.
