I think every athlete in an Ironman should shoot for a sub-15-hour finish, and train accordingly. Before you jump on me for being elitist, watch the video to hear my reasoning.

An Ironman is hard, and lots can happen throughout the day. It is also a considerable investment, and you don’t want bad luck to stop you from getting to that finish line.
