Taking time off after a race, especially one that didn’t go as well as planned, can be a challenge. After Triathlon Vitoria-Gasteiz Coach Frank instituted nine days of recovery. A couple of days were completely off, a couple of days were optional, and I had a few easy workouts to see how my recovery was progressing. I know it will be good in the long run, but at the moment it’s tough not to push and do a little more.
