Time trial and triathlon bikes are awesome, but damn can they be expensive. This week I give you a look at my tri bike, a 2008 Pinarello FT1. It’s my current, first, and only TT bike that I bought in 2012 for $1100 on Kijiji. She had her left shifter and front derailleur amputated last year, but I’ve grown to love the 1x setup. She lacks the sex appeal of a lot of the bikes you’ll find in you’re LBS, but just because she’s old doesn’t mean she’s slow.
