A win heading into IRONMAN Mont Tremblant

Daniel Clarke wins the K-Town Long Course Triathlon in preparation for IRONMAN Mont Tremblant

On Sunday, I raced the Skechers Multisport Canada K-Town Long Course Triathlon. This race was a tune-up for Ironman Mont Tremblant in two weeks’ time. My goals were to have a good swim, a strong bike at around 70.3 power, and then a good first 5K before backing it off for the next 10K. I didn’t want to dig myself into a hole before IMMT, so it was important I kept my race under control. Race day was a beautiful day, albeit a bit hot, and I managed to accomplish my goals and break the tape for the win.
