2014 ITU World Triathlon Grand Final in Edmonton

The countdown is on for the ITU Age Group World Championships in Edmonton this summer. Between August 26 and  September 1, 2014, the best in the world will descend in Edmonton. In addition to elite and paratriathlon races, the 2014 TransCanada Corp. World Triathlon Grand Final will showcase standard and sprint distance age group races, as well as an aquathlon, U23, junior and mixed relay world championships.

Together with Edmonton Corporate Transportation, the World Triathlon Grand Final Edmonton will be providing round trip and one way service to and from the Edmonton International Airport to your hotel. Their services, including separate cargo transportation and facilitation for special requirements is available for all athletes, relatives, coaches, managers and technical officials for flights between August 24th and September 4th. Flexibility will be made for late or cancelled flights. More affordable and dependable than conventional taxi services, ECT transportation can be booked at www.corporatetransportation.ca/book-vehicle/ for a round trip fee of $120, or one way for $60.

 

 

All accredited athletes, officials, trainers and coaches will be able to ride Edmonton Transit for free from Aug. 25-Sept. 1. You must show your official event accreditation card before entering a bus or Light Rail Transit (LRT) train in order to ride free of charge.
