Video: Barrie Shepley previews Canadians in Rio Olympic triathlon

Canada’s Barrie Shepley will be down in Rio commentating at the Olympic triathlons, but before he left we caught up with him to chat about the five first-time Canadian Olympians who will toe the start lines on Thursday and Saturday’s races.

Kirsten Sweetland, Amelie Kretz, Sarah-Anne Brault, Andrew Yorke and Tyler Mislawchuk have all put on impressive performances throughout their careers as elite ITU triathletes. In this video, Shepley talks about their individual strengths when it comes to the Rio triathlon course, their challenges and what we can expect from the five talented Olympic rookies.
