At Ironman 70.3 Ireland in Galway, Switzerland’s Jan Van Berkel edged out New Zealand’s Terenzo Bozzone at the finish line to earn the victory by just one second (3:54:35 for Van Berkel vs 3:54:36 for Bozzone). Belgium’s Tine Deckers won the women’s race by over 17 minutes.
